August 28th 2006 - My first sleep in my big cot!

What an exciting week this has been. Last night I slept in my big cot for the first time. Daddy put it together for me yesterday when I was having my afternoon nap, so it was a real surprise to go and sleep there at night. It was so spacious and comfy that I jus spread myself out and slept beautifully. I didn't even wake up for my milk this morning - Mummy had to come in and wake me at 7am!

As I had been so good she took me swimming again this morning. She appologises for the photo, but you are not allowed cameras or mobile photos in the changing rooms for security reasons, so she had to take a sneaky picture of me in my wet suit with her PDA when nobody was looking! We had a good splash around and then got out, had a quick shower and got warm again. As you can see my wet suit fits me much better now!

So this week I have managed the following:

• my first swim (x2!)
• my first night time sleep in my 'sleeping bag', bye bye swaddle!
• my first night in my big cot (and no waking up!)
• putting myself to sleep during the day and at night with no soother, shusshing, patting etc
• much much more milk*
• milk with no drops in

* I am now drinking nearly a whole 1 litre of milk a day - incredible given the size of me (although I am growing fast!)
