I was meant to be at a special birthday party today, but Mummy thought it best if I stayed at home as I am still not quite better yet. I am really fed up as I had my special pink dress all ready and waiting to be worn - humph. Mummy has promised to take me to visit very soon though.

Mummy took me to the doctor yesterday as I still would not take any milk in the morning. He checked me over and said that I was fine and just had a bug, and that it would take a bit of time before I am better. He made sure my tummy felt right, that I didn't have a temperature and also that I wasn't getting dehydrated. As it was, I felt a bit hungrier in the afternoon and took some more milk, which made Mummy feel much better.
Just before I went to bed Mummy and Daddy's friends Ian and Sara arrived. They are staying with us for the weekend so that they can go to the big cricket match at the Oval. I promised them I would be on good behaviour and sleep well.

Today when I woke up I felt a bit hungrier and took half of my milk, and by lunchtime I was nearly taking it all. Mummy thinks I am now definitely on the mend - hoorah!
