July 24th 2006 - It's still hot!

It's still really hot weather at the moment, so we are still hiding from the sun. We have made a few trips out in the car, but that's all. On Saturday, Gramps popped in on his way to seeing Great Grandma. I was so nice to him he came back again for lunch and got to see me have my milk and play in my chair too!

On Sunday Mummy and I went to see her friend Annie and her family. They were so nice to me, played with me and cuddled me lots and gave me some really nice goodies including some body suits with fish and mermaids on them!

Today Auntie Diane and Brad looked after me while Mummy went for a business meeting I was very good for them too. I am now taking some big bottles of milk (150ml) so Mummy has dropped one of my feeds, has extended my feeding times to every 3.5 hours and is also putting me to bed a bit earlier in the evening - I am actaully sleeping more. I have also started discovering my hands. They are strange looking things so I have spent a lot of time exploring them up close. Now that I am getting a bit more control of them Mummy is putting me to sleep in my 'Gro-bag' during the day, but still swaddling me at night (I think this is just because she wants a good sleep too!). I am also learning to put myself to sleep too. Quite often now Mummy can leave me in my cot calm, but awake and I manage to go to sleep on my own. Sometimes she comes to wake me but finds I am already awake and happily looking around in my cot - there's so much to see now.

Tomorrow I go and see the doctor for my 8 week check and my innoculations I am really not looking forward to that!
