July 12th 2006 - My first trip to the seaside

Today was a really exciting day as I went with Mummy to the seaside. Grandma and Gramps live right on the coast, and very near to the big beach at Littlehampton. We drove down to see them and had anice lunch there - I had my milk

and Mummy had salad and quiche. Then we went in the car to the seaside.

It was a lovely sunny day so I wore my sun hat so I wouldn't get hurt by the sun. Mummy kept me in the pram most of the time to keep me cool. I bet Mummy wishes she could have been in the pram with me as by the tim she got home she was a bit pink! Both Grandma and Gramps pushed my pram along the sea front which was a real treat - they are better drivers than Mummy.

On our way back we went to see Uncle Terry and Auntie Penny. It was a bit confusing as Uncle Terry looked just like Gramps. We didn't stay too long as I was tired so had a bit of a grizzle and was also due my milk soon. We will see them again next month though for a special birthday party.

After my milk, we drove all the way home. On both journies I was quiet all the way, but awake when we arrived. Mummy doesn't know whether I slept all the way or was just peacefully looking out of the window of the car. It's a secret ..... she'll never know.
