Poorly Pickle Phase 2

I am so sorry that I have not been keeping you updated on my somewhat whirlwind life but after Christmas I was poorly again. I had been recovering well from the bronchiolitis, but then caught a chest infection. Over Christmas I was coughing a lot, and it made it hard to sleep, so on 27th Dec Mummy took me to the doctor. As he thought it was still the bronchiole cough he said there was nothing that he could do to help, so I just had to put up with it. However by the weekend my temperature had gone up too.

Mummy took me to hospital on 30th Dec as my temperature was high and they checked me out. They did all sorts of tests including a chest xray, blood tests, an ECG, mucus test ... in fact the list was endless. They concluded that I actually had an infection in my lungs that was the problem, so needed proper treatment. They needed to work out what was actually the cause of the pneumonia and make sure my temperature went down so I was kept in over night. Mummy stayed with me.

The following morning I was much better and the medicine seemed to be working, so the doctors let me go home. As both me and Mummy were so tired, we slept a lot ... so no chance of us partying away for the New Year!

Day by day I got better and better, gaining more energy, coughing less and feeling much more like smiling and playing! Unfortunately as I got better I passed the germs on to Mummy who became poorly, but nowhere near as bad as me! Thankfully I am now completely better and ready for action, and Mummy is well and truly on the mend too.

So this week I am off to nursery where there are new babies to meet, and I'll also go and play at the creche at the gym too. I am really looking forward to going out and about again as quite honestly I was getting very bored at home playing with Mummy! So watch this space for some more entertaining exploits of a VIP!
