16th December 2006 - Poorly Pickle

Sorry I have not been online for a couple of days but I have been a bit poorly. At the beginning of the week I had a cough and a blocked up nose, but felt pretty much OK otherwise and went to nursery as normal. However by Thursday I felt really horrid and lethargic. So Mummy spoke to the doctor and took me in to see her. The Doctor was worried as I had a temperature and was struggling to get a good breath through my blocked up nose. So the doctor sent me to casualty to see a special Paediatrician.

It was the first time that I had been to hospital since I was born there. A nice nurse took my temperature and other vitals, and then we waited for the doctor. We didn't have to wait long until we saw him and he was really friendly. He said that I had bronchilitis, but it wasn't too serious and hadn't gone onto my chest which is good. Mummy was told to give me lots of Calpol and some drops to stop me being so blocked up. I really hate taking these and each time Mummy tries I make it as challenging as I can for her. She has even enlisted the help of Daddy at times to hold on to me so she can give me my medicine!

As you can tell I am much better now - still very tired and coughing, but my fever has gone and and I am a much happier pickle all round. So I should be fully back in action in the next couple of days so watch out here I come!
