My new routine seems to be going well - I am getting used to 1 less feed and 1 less sleep, and I am definitely staying awake longer which means I get much more time to play.
This morning, Mummy's friend Heather came to visit. She has just come back from visiting a place a long way away called Takikisatn which is the poorest of the former Soviet states (I'm learning a lot these days!). She had been there to see some of the Oxfam projects in action, and has come back with lots of tales, many of which were very sad, others were so hopeful. Maybe one day I'll get to visit lots of different places as travcelling does sound very exciting. Heather bought me a present - Mr Lion, which I am playing with in the photo. Mr Lion has a reall nice big smiley face.
I am also starting to learn how to sit, and Mummy has got me a special chair - a 'Bumbo'. This supports me and makes it hard for me to fall forward or sideways. Only problem is it is harder for me to reach for my toys when I drop them! I really need to grow a bit before I get the most benefit from the 'Bumbo' but it is all good practice.
We are having a quiet weekend as we have a very busy week next week - it's all go you know when you are a VIP (Very Important Pickle)!
